You need a “real” presence online, and I suggest WordPress. It’s not just a blog anymore, with some of the newest responsive themes they have today and, HTML5, your WordPress site can and will be professional.

WordPress is one of the most popular platforms for marketing online with Google and other search engines. So, how can you pass up this content marketing heaven for traffic? I have no clue why, you should be here.

2. Video Marketing

Sorry, but we will have to say a big DUH! on this one. Soon to be 90% of the information consumption online, video marketing is the perfect answer to content marketing.

Video can enhance SEO to your blog, build trust and brand all at once, don’t believe me, well you probably watched my video above. Enough said for video.

3. Social Media

If I hear one more so-called affiliate marketing guru or “master mind” group talk about social media strategies I will shoot my own self in the foot for you.

They get it wrong most of the time. Recently two major affiliate and network marketing companies, including the Empower Network, were cut from posting on Facebook. Want to know why? Because these brainiacs thought they mastered social media.

Today social media is just that, social media. It is a place to share information, but here is the kicker, you must engage in it too. Start engaging with others and see what happens.

4. SEO

You do need to know SEO (search engine optimization). While you may think I am going to get into a bunch of crazy coding and CSS stuff, you would be wrong.

Learning how to create content in a “people” and “search engine” friendly manner are one in the same. Content that is optimized for both will win the day and you need to know some.
