Is Thijs de Valk right? do sliders suck and, do they really spell out disaster for your website? Recently, and it is the talk of the town, using sliders on your website is under attack, but, the question is, are they right?
I am a huge fan of Search Engine Journal and it’s stellar contributor Thijs de Valk, but I am a little concerned of what might happen in the wake of what him and others are saying about sliders recently.
So, I figured I would toss in my own two cents, from someone who sees it differently. See, unlike those who stare at statistics all day, I stare at what I like…stats have a place, but I don’t think so in this case…
When I find the little things that make sense, I jump on it. So, when I did my own personal review of the Leafit social network, I said “hey, why not earn a little something with social media with things I am already doing.”
So, here is my own inside review and look at how the Leafit social media platform works, both the APP and, the compensation plan. This ground floor opportunity is great, so to be one of the first to join Leafit, the free Social Network that pays you for posting your pictures, I know I am.
Hey, if you are already taking selfies, nature shots and pics already and sharing, why not get paid for it?
Time management for bloggers, at least in this profession you do not have to spend ten thousand dollars to sit in a seminar to learn something so simple. Well, you do not have to, but it’s not like it is unheard of, but it should be.
One of the biggest reasons many fail at most anything online is the fact they can’t seem to find the time for some of the most basic and fundamental practices here.
So, let’s look at what we can do to settle down, get focused and make the time to build what we want deep down inside, a successful blog.
Launching any product or service online will take some planning, some know how and, well, something I know will make your gut turn with irritation.
But, what if you could deal with it? What if you could be patient, learn some strategies, get through the curve, pull your pants up and actually GET IT DONE!?
Well, here is your chance. Through the month of August we are going through “The Launch” process together…here.
Hey, if Brian Gardner (above), creator of StudioPress and partner at Copyblogger can get niche and succeed, then you can to. Here is why niche marketing works and, why you are completely afraid of it!
I recently wrote about the fear of blogging here, then another ugly monster popped up, the fear of getting specific with our business online. However, while many are afraid, this fear is actually as ridiculous as the horse it rode in on.
Sorry for the bluntness, but really? Let’s take a look at why this fear is really ridiculous and, why I am so point blank blunt about it. And yes, Brian got niche, he simply loved developing beautiful themes…
Yes, it’s back, but with a few tweaks, hey, every good SEO and marketer is always working to better not only their list building strategies and practices, but also trying to better things for current subscribers and readers….that’s their job!
Yep, we do, we are always trying to better the way we can reach and influence our marketplace, if we did not, well, those types have come and gone.
So, with this slight introduction to the new monthly marketing cache, let’s look at what is changing!
Actually, the buzz phrase today for fixing old blog posts and reorganizing them to enhance better ranking, conversion and so on, is re-purposing content. But, semantics aside, there is a good reason to start doing it.
The news of the day, the strategies of marketing (at least some), social media feeds and so on are continually changing. And, with that, many opportunities, programs and even training systems for developing a solid presence and income online, well, change or disappear as well.
Not too mention, Google. While it’s quest for giving us the, and I quote, “best search results” has always been one guided by it’s Google Webmaster Guidelines, even they have played a little smack down here and there, and your content was probably effected….Now it’s time to clean house.
